Three Heritage in One Day on the Fort Wayne Line
Author: fatnrat

Today as I went on my break, went down to Leetonia, OH to wait on three heritage units; CNJ, N&W and PRR. Was only able to get the CNJ trailing on 20W there as I found out the other two trains were held near Ravenna and that I had no time to wait on them, so I headed back to work. When I got off work, however, I saw that neither the N&W or PRR had made it to my area yet so I took off to New Galilee, PA to wait on them. Had a little tedious wait between the N&W and PRR there but it was worth it. Here's what I saw:

#1.  20W comes into Leetonia with CNJ 1071 trailing NS 1018. The lead ACe was letting out a bit of smoke.

#2.  Going away shot of the 1071.

#3.  After work, N&W 8103 leads train 24Z thru New Galilee.

#4.  Going away shot of 8103 thru the crossing in New Galilee.

#5.  After waiting quite a while, empty coal train 553 finally makes its appearance with PRR 8102 leading the way.

#6.  Going away view of 8102.

Have a good Wednesday all.
