When did GE receive Certification as per part 1033

Why ask this again when you can look at several posts to a thread from the 27th.? You will get more of the same...

My point, EXACTLY.  What people on this board are calling Tier 4
compliant units, are not.

Folks need to read the Regulation, and understand all that it involves.
It goes way beyond press releases and pictures of shiny locomotives.
Getting favorable results in a test cell under closely controlled conditions
ain't no where close to the real world.

Yes and the only people really in the know are the people inside of both GE & EMD and not "reliable resources"

Except that GE did receive Tier IV (4) certification in December 2014. First two BNSF ET44C4s were delivered 7/29 for service on the railroad.

Yes, the first two are in service on a Z ALTWSP8 arriving in Kansas City as I type this.
