Summer and Winter at the 12'6" Bridge in Bolivar
Author: Poker2662

I hope everyone has been enjoying the recent heat wave... after the intense winter earlier this year in Ohio, I think we deserved it! I've taken many pictures at the 12 foot 6 inch tall bridge just west of Bolivar over the past few years, and I think I have two pictures that show the opposite seasons. The first picture is of the W&LE 305 on the very hot morning of June 26th, 2015. The 305 and 110 were headed east from Brewster to Bolivar to switch at PPI just east of town. The picture of the 304 in the cold and snow was taken on November 29th, 2013. 304 was on the east end of a W&LE employee special passenger train (that I posted about a couple years ago). Both pictures were taken at about the same angle, except the 304 shot was through my windshield and was a bit closer to the bridge.

Thanks for looking.
Matt.

Very neat seasonal comparison.

Both very nice, and oddly prefer the second!

That second shot has got the Heritage down:
N&W, PRR, and Rio Grande all represented.
Good one.   BSB
