Today Grand River SW1200 #1202 made its way to Columbus, Ohio on the OHCR turn. From Columbus, CSX will take it to Willard and finally to its new home east of Cleveland.
Here are a couple shots of it today in Pataskala, Ohio and Columbus, Ohio

Unbelievable to see a unit in 2015 without outside handrails.

Nice catch, I am hoping that Q634 Will be the train to take that switcher away and deliver it to Willard.

Only problem, is that emblem says Linking Fairport Harbor, Fairport Harbor is opposite side of river from this short line, and Fairport is already linked to the nation by NS

Yes, absolutely right!  But there's an east and west side to the harbor, which is generally known as Fairport Harbor, and, GRRY services the west side. The herald doesn't say GRRY is the ONLY railroad linking Fairport Harbor to the Nation.  Nonetheless, your comment is why there's still one thing the government doesn't do: Educate mules, 'cause no one likes a smart you-know-what.

Pretty little unit, nice nod to the B&O, but it's a far cry from the doubleheaded EM-1's of yore!
