NS h47 picks up the Ns 1700 Erie Lackawanna unit

The NS H47(Local that shifs the Atlas Mineral & Chemicals plant) Picked up the 1700 at 1:15 this afternoon and it is on its way to Reading, Pa. My guess it will sit at the Spring St. yard.
So Mertztown had its guest leave after a week of spending time with us locals.

1. Local H47 picking up NS1700 to go to Reading, Pa.
2. H47 thru Bowers, Pa. at 1:30pm

Is there a story on the MP15DC?  Or is it returning to Reading etc switching duties?

From what I understand the mp15 is former Southern Railway heritage. It is regular power on the H47 and other locals out of Reading yard.

Th ns1700 leaves the Atlas siding in Mertztown, PA.

There were two. I must have been thing 2418.

It will go to Reading for the 68 to pick up, most likely on Friday. Figure a Saturday or Sunday morning trip on 34A to Enola.
