Eastern Railroad Discussion > Gotta Love CPR's NEUS!Date: 04/02/03 06:21 Gotta Love CPR's NEUS! Author: KevinB You gotta love the motive power assignments on Canadian Pacific Railway\'s Northeast United States territory. This morning\'s (April 2) Binghamton, NY to Philadelphia, PA train hosted six units and four separate paint schemes, as well as four variations of EMD locomotives.
Operating on Norfolk Southern trackage rights as train 30J-H5-02, it was led by Soo SD60 6038; SD60 6000; SD60 6014; Soo (red scheme) SD40-2 6615; CP (dual flag) SD40-2 5606; and CP (Beaver paint)GP40-2 4651. Since I concentrated mostly on the slide film cameras, I was only able to get a grab shot of the 30J with the digital. The image shows the train passing the Cleona station sign on Norfolk Southern\'s Harrisburg Line. Sorry for the image quality, but you \'get the picture\' (pun intended). I\'m glad to see SOO power still running around!!
Date: 04/02/03 07:44 Re: Gotta Love CPR's NEUS! Author: csxt4617 I just picked up some pics of mine I took a few
weeks ago of a CP train with 8 units, CP 8648 (beaver), SOO 2011 (MILW bandit), SOO 6609 (red/white), CP 6047 (dual flags), CP 5695 (dual flags), SOO 6042 (red) CP 8534 (beaver), and CEFX 3106 (gray). That\'s 2 AC4400\'s, 1 SD60, 4 SD40-2\'s, and 1 GP40 in 5 CP/SOO schemes, plus the leaser scheme. Date: 04/02/03 07:46 Re: Gotta Love CPR's NEUS! Author: TrkEngr 30J in daylight. Nice catch. I haven\'t been able to keep track of that train lately. I assume it still runs east on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday(?) early mornings, but what time is it normally going through Harrisburg?

For the fun of it, I\'ve posted a shot of my own with 8 SD40-2\'s in 6 different paint schemes (1 train with 6 units, and another with 2 units). The train on the right has StL&H 5593, CPRS Dual Flag 5620, CP Rail (no Pacman) 5640, CP Expressway 5742, SOO 6613, CPRS Dual Flag 5616 And the train on the left has CPRS Dual Flag 5612, CP Rail (Pacman) 5817 Not too shabby. I just wish I took better photos of this train. Photo taken in Smiths Falls, ON last August. Mike in Ottawa Date: 04/02/03 16:27 Re: Gotta Love CPR's NEUS!
