2016 Blue Unit Circus Train:

---5,142 Feet (WITHOUT host RR's power attached; 1 mile = 5,280 feet)

Current RBBB rail-tour Edition Numbers for the two railroad shows, Blue and Red, are measured from the show's first year, 1871. Train-run ["jump"] dates presume each train departs the morning [or day] after the closing performance date. RBBB Circus Trains can change scheduled routing and departure time without notice.

This is a slight change from last week's posting, as the show "took down" the play dates in St. Louis and another one after that, and will now simply head south to Florida to refurbish the Blue Unit for 2017.  ROUTE?  Unknown as of this writing, at least by me -- but the RR companies already contracted for the move certainly know, LOL.

Hmmm it could be possible to see both Red and Blue going same way on same railroad between Indy and Nashville on the 5th.

Is it a bit concerning that some play dates have been dropped during this last season?

Profiled to run Indy - Terre  Haute - Evansville - Nashville - Birmingham - Waycross - Tampa.  So it will pass/meet the RED unit in Nashville

Reports on local Facebook group that the train departed Indy around 7:00 AM (EST). and heading down the CE&D and then the Henderson Sub.

I was wondering what the story was on this.   Has the elimination of the elephants dampened ticket sales?
