Some rural and urban Wheeling...
Author: Forever-Railfan-45

Stayed local again today...and found a new spot to photograph the Wheeling and Lake Erie trains coming out of Brewster, Ohio. This is close to MP 132.  First up is an unknown eastbound empty coke train with five locomotives for power. Numbers two and three are of the 223 with the former D&RGW SD40T-2 with some nice mismatched number boards....

Pictures four and five are of the Wheeling and Lake Erie 261 in downtown Canton, Ohio by the AEP building and lastly we have the 237 with another GM EMD leader. The wife and I actually went to an Amish residence to ask about the "Acorn birdhouse" sign and ended up buying handmade rug, homemade apple butter and rasbperry jam. The lady of the house gave us a fresh loaf of homemade wheat bread too. Nice day out...

#4 is a nice angle. Good one Carl. That empty coke train could be going to Monesson, PA. to load.
