1.  Northbound CSX intermodal passes new Cherry Hill Interlocking signal bridge just south from where the new third track will end short of the bridge over Powells Creek.  The graded area on the far side of the train will accomodate the third track that will begin north of Aquia Creek, several miles to the south.  Work on the new VRE passenger station has not yet commenced.

2.  Same train crosses Powells Creek with the Potomac River in the background.  Yes, the water IS that muddy.
