Bellevue and Along the Sandusky District

Here are a few from an outing about month ago to Bellevue and along the Sandusky District of Norfolk Southern. The latter extends from its namesake city on Lake Erie in Ohio to Columbus.

Photo 1: The surprise of the day was an Illinois Central SD70 leading an inbound train off the Toledo District.

Photo 2: Union Pacific leads an inbound passing Southwest Street.

Photo 3: A trio of UP power leads an outbound train bound for the Fostoria District.

Photo 8: The crew putting together train 12V tied up the mini plant for a good half hour.

Photo 9: A light power move approaches Southwest Street.

Photo 10: Train 194 is leaving town. Note the CSX unit behind the lead locomotive.

Photo 11: No. 194 at the south end of Siam, AKA Attica Junction on the Sandusky District.

Photo 12: The 12V passes through Attica, Ohio, on the Sandusky District. A long time ago this line was owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad.

Photo 13:The rear of a westbound manifest freight at Bucyrus on the Sandusky District. In the foreground is the Fort Wayne Line, which crosses the Sandusky District at Colsan.

Photos 14 and 15: Grain train 44G with BNSF motive power doing the pulling crosses the Sandusky River and approaches Colsan.

Great coverage. Strangely your photo of auto racks seen through auto racks is so different and creative that it is my favorite.
