We lost count of how many times we turned right and left and right and left then right then left and right again and left again and......., but we were paying far more attention to the wilderness, the beautiful streams and brooks in the mountains, and the sunlight streaming through the thick greenery.... the knobs showing "brake application" were sticking out from underneath the coaches all the way down from about 2 hours out of Deepwater .... and it was A FANTASTIC RIDE ON THE OLD VIRGINIAN RAILWAY aboard the longest passenger train in Earth history.... Thanks, Frosty, for the view from aboard that now all can see -- this was a unique view that many of us marveled at: the curves were so tight, the vestibules parted back and forth like an accordion!
