Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS Safety Train on the move?Date: 06/21/17 10:50 NS Safety Train on the move? Author: toledopatch I just received word that the NS Safety Train with the Training First Responders engine departed Canton, OH at 11:30 a.m. I presume it is headed west in a general direction toward its next scheduled tour stop in South Bend, Ind., and would expect it to make a right turn at Bucyrus to operate via Bellevue, Ohio.
If it made good time it could easily be to Mansfield by now. Field confirmations welcomed. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/21/17 10:50 by toledopatch. They are going to Sandusky per the CO on that train.

Unless they're just using a yard crew to get to Sandusky, which could be the case. What's the weather like? Date: 06/21/17 13:33 Re: NS Safety Train on the move? Author: Forever-Railfan-45 Cloudy down this way with intermittent sun.
Posted from Android Date: 06/21/17 13:37 Re: NS Safety Train on the move? Author: toledopatch If it gets through Bellevue without dawdling too long, it could have decent sun in spots if/when it reaches Toledo, but the sky's been getting cloudier all afternoon.
Date: 06/22/17 11:43 Re: NS Safety Train on the move? Author: halfmoonharold It has been parked in either Bellevue or Sandusky all night. Now has a crew, and will be moving this afternoon toward Elkhart.
