GA near miss grade crossing locust grove

An NS NB stack train narrowly missed hitting a stuck low-boy trailer at Jackson St around noon. The train crew must have been notified because they stopped about 100 yards after passing crossing. Trailer was not fouling crossing when train arrived. NS 9877 is leading. Even though there was no contact the train crew met with local police for about 20 minutes.

A near miss is better than a bullseye. Pucker factor for the crew but not much grief after.
