First train of the day is the ABC Z642 empty stone train at Akron, OH seen here backing through the crossovers at BD tower then heading west to the Wheeling interchange at BG128.9

Next is the ABC Kent crew at Summit St Kent, OH on the old Erie Lackawanna mainline, they are headed to Crawley Tar and Rock 10 at Ravenna, OH.

Last train is a combined 561/663 train heading south for Akron on the WE Cleveland Sub. 561 crew took 2 hot cars north for Aurora Plastics and met the 663 crew in Streetsboro, OH and came south combined. Seen here at Howe Rd in Brimfield, OH

Jeff, wow you got some nice photos. I forgot W&LE Still have Ex. FURX SD40-2's left. Also I assume those top photos are part of the CSX New Castle Sub?

Great set of photos. Apart from the NS heritage units that pass through, WLE has the best variety of any railroad in Central/eastern Ohio - in my opinion.

That seventh picture is a prime example of Wheeling Jeff. Running the older EMD power; to see four four axle locomotives on a train now these days is rare. Nice stuff Captain/Chief :)

And four GP-35s together! Rare for locos at least 53 years old........
