Eastern Railroad Discussion > 11 Railroads on the way to ChattanoogaDate: 09/12/17 15:27 11 Railroads on the way to Chattanooga Author: Ohiorailfan On Friday I made multiple stops between Columbus, Ohio and Chattanooga. Most places I knew what to expect and then were some surprises. Enjoy!
The 1st railroad being CIND which was by pure luck. We stopped in Blue Ash, Ohio at a bank and while waiting for them to open we heard a horn and investigated. Sure enough one of CIND's RP20BD's was heading north 2nd stop was Jeffersonville, Indiana. Even though the light was terrible I couldn't resist from taking a shot of the LIRC power 3rd stop was RJ Corman in Louisville, KY. At the sand plant 2 RJ units wait for the evening departure Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/12/17 15:31 by Ohiorailfan. After that a 5 pack of 4 axles came out with one of the Veterans units leading

CIND and IORY are separate companies on paper but are operated as a contiguous system and share common G&W management. Operating as a single system, they of course pool power. There are only 3 CIND marked engines - 2 Gensets (2001 and 2002) both in G&W paint, and SW 1500 CIND 2342 in solid NS black.
