CSX stock has risen 47% since the beginning of this year.

For 3rd Q 2017, earnings were basically flat (up less than 1%) over 3rd Q 2016. Carloadings were also flat. Revenues were up 1%. Operating ratio improved from 69.0 to 68.1.

We will see if this is sustainable moving forward.
