Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX Q165 with Ex. AWVR Unstoppable 767 Meets Metro-North

Well this was totally unexpected this evening. First I saw Q165 and I was shocked when I saw that the trailing unit was #9758 trailing 2nd, so that's why the photo came out the way it did, I just turned and took the photo without focusing. And then 1 minute later 165 met a CSX eastbound freight with Metro-North Commuter Railroad cars.

What's with the ConnDOT cars? Going to scrap? Rebuild?

Hi
These cars are going to the scrap yard
They come into Willard and turn and go back to the scrap yard due to the way the switch faces
They have been doing this move for years now
I have good pictures of these cars and will get them posted but as of now I am behind in posting due
to my wife being ill but she will be fine healing fine

Tom, thanks. Yea, I heard they're going to Ashtabula to be scrapped. Anyway, I feel real bad your wife is Ill. My condolences. I apologize. As me and my family says, family comes first.
