James E. Strates Train at Hopewell Station Today
Author: PennRailVideos

CSX P920, the James E. Strates Train rolls east by Hopewell, NJ. I shot the last move of the Circus Train at Belle Mead, NJ station, so I wanted to keep my tradition of shooting these novelty trains at railroad stations.

This is interesting. I didn't know that there were any circus trains left running after RBBB left the stage.

Technically this is not a circus train but a carnival train whereby only the equipment is shipped by rail. The people who work this carnival usually go by buses (sad to say).

Thanks for the pictures.

Hopewell has a lovely station, maybe the only occupied Reading Company station east of West Trenton.

Add to the end of the JES train Norfolk Southern Caboose (bay window) #555200 going into the Meadowlands for unloading.
All for now. bcd9 ∑:=)
