Sun pops out as 38G rounds the bend

Today’s 38G, east at Perkiomen Junction on the NS Harrisburg line.  38G is east bound for Abram’s Yard in King of Prussia, PA.

It was all clouds until the sound of the engines started to drown out the road noise, then the sun made a rare appearance.

From what folks tell me, sunshine has been a rare commodity back there for months on end.

2018 has been pretty miserable in all of PA for sunshine. We are set to break the record for all time rainfall here in Pittsburgh this year. It has truly been awful.
