Somehow, I liked it better when it was a clean GTW GP38-2 followed by two or three of their blue business cars. Not sure what this current mess is.

Not trying to disparage Christmas or the CN's efforts to celebrate it, but commenting on a train made up of a F40, two business cars, a steel coil car, and a covered hopper, none of which match in paint save for the two business cars. I know the general public nor most employees and their families probably don't care, but I was just making a comparison to what the GTW used to put together back in the day when they were more independent.

Great catch!   Does CN still have the E units?  CN actually owns that F40PH.

Wow I had no idea CN had a F40, neat.

Is that a handbrake wheel on the nose as a Christmas decoration lol?

 It was some sort of Christmas Decoration Light.

CN still has two E Units, CN 102 and CN 103.

The CN 102 photograph was taken on December 7, 2018, at the CN Woodcrest Engine House, Markham Yard, Homewood, Illinois, by one of the Machinists there.
The CN 103 photograph was also taken at Woodcrest, out back in the storage tracks. Unknown date and photographer.
