Caught this train today in Lynchburg, came off the NW from Roanoke onto the Southern and headed north. Im guess at Manasses it will take the B line west then the Hagerstown Dist on north. Why would they just not run it straight north from Roanoke up the Valley, less traffic in the way and a direct shot.
