1) Taxi..... Helper set B877-08 (left) brings the crew for T051-05 (right)  down from the Yard Office. The Helper set will return to the west end of the train before they too head up the Thomas Sub but with a loaded drag for the Mt. Storm Power Station.

2) B772-08 returning east on 17-Mile Grade at Bloomington, MD with cars from Grafton, WV.

3) B877-08 brings their train out of the east yard at Keyser, WV. They would stop at the Yard Office to wait for the earlier emptyman to clear the Thomas Sub before they can get track clearance to depart. The B772-08 in the background is shoving their cars onto the Freight Track for Q316 to pick up later.

1) V089-09 westbound passing the Q349-09. The Q349 is having brake "issues" requiring the Car Department  and Conductor isolating each car to locate the issue... all the while they had 2 of the 3 crossings in town blocked.

2) Once Q349 cleared Cumberland, their Helpers followed them out of town. They would tie on just outside of town. Q136-09 passing the Helpers at Valley Street.

3) The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad started running their "Romance on the Rails" trips for the Valentine season. We caught their #502 and train returning at the Helmsetter fram crossing

Thanks Tim as usual for all the fine photos and for keeping us all well informed of what is happening on the old B&O and the old WM.  I did not know that the WM folks purchased one of the Ringling Bros. Circus Cars.  What is it used for as your photo shows it in the train consist?  Also, when did the WM Scenic repaint the GP-30 #501 back into the old paint colors?  The last time anyone put a photo here on T.O. it was in the Red, White, and Black scheme.

Wow. You had a "busy" weekend!  It's a real pleasure looking at photos from someone who understands the operations. And is willing to write about it.
I hope that guy at Baltimore Avenue got his Vette back in the stable before the arrival of the "wintry mix".

I'm sorry Tim, I'm getting old, I remember now it's the 501 that is Red, White and Black.  Thanks again for the photos and for straightening me out.
