Nice.  I especially like the segment at Callihan.  The day is coming when people will suddenly realize that there aren't any SD40-2's in mainline Class I service.

Very true! Often the locals around here on CSX will have an SD40-2 paired with a Sponge Bob/Square Cab SD40-3, so I try to capture video of true SD40-2 lash-up's. Hard to believe one of the units on this train is 49 years old.

According to http://www.nsdash9.com/roster.html, NS is still operating hundreds of SD40-2's. Some of the ex-Southern units were delivered in December 1972. Not sure about the others on the NS roster. 

What an amazing thing to see--a 49 year old diesel still roaring down the rails.  Now that's the EMD we all love!!!!!
