5 hrs. - 30 mins. at Keyser, WV & Cumberland, MD - 13 April 2019
Author: DTWilson

7:29 am..... Out getting Breakfast when we hear dispatcher BF talking to Q317 as they come west. Normally called for 1900 hrs at Cumberland, 317 reaches Keyser normally around 2130 or so. So it's a treat to catch it in daylight.

1) Q317-12 making their tonnage reduction set-out in the east yard at Keyser, WV.

2) NS #4077 part of the power for Q317 at Keyser....

3) Now in Cumberland, MD we catch Q016-12 passing under the Virginia Ave. signals as they arrive at the Safety Stop to change crews.

Another great report. Looks like you guys had a very productive morning. Nice shot of the Mother and her Slugs. Not too many shots of these particular critters to be had. Have they retired these units or are they just in Cumberland for some maintenance? Good stuff Tim !

Nice catches and photos!   You correct, that was a GP39.   I forget which one now.    Caught those in Willard Ohio when they fresh from wherever they were rebuilt.
