Different Take
Author: RDG630

There has been a rush to photograph the six-axle MLW's on the Western New York & Pennsylvania now that the railroad has announced they will be replaced by more modern GE power. I am posting photos from perspectives not usually seen posted on most rail sites. These are from a chase back in 2015.
First is the train headed south to Driftwood, Pa leaving Olean, NY crossing the Alleghany River.
Second at the former PRR position signal at North Driftwood, Pa
Third passing a barn just north of Driftwood.

That's a lot of six-axle goodness for the remaining Alco operator, DL, to absorb. Any word on what's to become of them?

True, dat. I could see Exporail going for the C630M, though.
