Storm Light at Steamtown
Author: Mastadon

I dropped by "Steamtown" in Scranton to shoot the diesels on Sunday 8/18/2019 shortly before a strong thunderstorm rolled through. I had about 15 minutes of sun before the sky opened up.

Very nice..!!

I remember one time when I was there during a thunderstorm, my dad went out walking around the tracks with lightning nearby....??!!  Not me.....I stayed in the car.

Great photos!  I wonder if it was the same storm that shortened yesterday's Indy Car race at Pocono Speedway (some 30 miles to the south), probably around 4-5pm local time.
