Eastern Railroad Discussion > Trip to the Southern Tier of New York and central PennsylvaniaDate: 08/21/19 18:40 Trip to the Southern Tier of New York and central Pennsylvania Author: rkap10 A friend and I are now planning a trip to include the Southern Tier of New York and are particularly interested in operations of the Western New York and Pennsylvania, and the Delaware Lackawanna on the former DL&W route to East Stroudsburg. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Be at Olean and park along the road by 8 am and watch what happens. The selection of power and which end the engineer is sitting in is a very good indication of what is happening. Do not go beyond the guard rail onto their property.
