A perfect wide spot to catch the train. Gary Date: 02/09/20 13:03 Re: CSX Office Car Special at Jesup, Georgia Author: boejoe Nice video. Thanks for being trackside.
Two questions: Opening scenes show a CSX freight in a siding - is it a local that is based there or awaiting passage of the OCS train? Is second overpass in the distant rear another road? Almost looks like a rail overpass. jb Date: 02/09/20 13:09 Re: CSX Office Car Special at Jesup, Georgia Author: RFandPFan boejoe Wrote:

It was returning to Waycross and had to stop for a bad order car. It was later recrewed and set off the car at Jesup. Amtrak #91 got stuck behind it and had to make a reverse move to Doctortown in order to get around it. The bridge in the background is the NS Brunswick District which runs from Brosnan Yard in Macon, GA to Brunswick, GA.The full video is on my YouTube Channel "Georgia Rail Videos" and includes a video of the NS G11 local returning from Brunswick. The cars are being repainted at the Waycross paint booth. The cars are now stored at the old Back Shops building (inside) at Rice Yard. It will be interesting to see if the locomotives get a similar paint job.

I was wondering that too, especially since the F40s got the new CSX logo a few years ago. Date: 02/10/20 08:53 Re: CSX Office Car Special at Jesup, Georgia Author: IC_2024 Excellent video, RF&PFan! I like the opening scene, too, where you pan to the depot— looks almost like a modern day “Mayberry” from the Andy Griffith show!
