Ohio Central and Camp Chase Around Columbus
Author: Ohiorailfan

Very rarely do I get out around Columbus any more to see anything. Yesterday after work the OC Parsons turn had quite the consist leading back to Newark. B23-7R #4093 led 3 other units, 2 of which were maroon. Today the Camp Chase headed towards Watkins with 3 GP9s for power as they made their interchange on the south side of Columbus. They had a nice size train heading back to their rails as downtown Columbus made for a nice photo prop. Enjoy!

Nice....like the old Panhandle....Wish I had seen the Camp Chase when it was the Central's main.   At the time I did not know it, I banged across the Diamonds (PRR NYC) in London in June 1968 on the Cincy Limited.  I believe that diamond was taken out of service later in 68....
