NS #911 Leading train 90M
Author: B-LineRailfan

Yesterday, Norfolk Southern train 90M had NS SD60E #911 leading a short train of tie-gons.  Here's a photo and video of the train crossing Shenendoah Shores Road near Woods, the west end of a passing siding on the NS B-line near Front Royal, Virginia.

911 has been working locals out of Manassas for a couple of weeks.

Road intersection sign near the west end of the Woods - Cody passing siding on the NS B-Line near Front Royal, VA.  It illustrates choices in life.  I'd rather go up Happy Creek without a paddle than down Dismal Hollow with a paddle.

That's a nice shot of the two signs - I never really thought about that dichotomy.  I have thought about trying to get a shot of a Dismal Hollow sign with an ominous storm cloud in the sky but haven't timed that right yet :-)
