"When seasons collide"

It was a mix of Winter and Spring this morning around NE Ohio. CSX was a bit quiet but they did run this Q369 west, seen in Akron, Ohio today 04-21-21.

Very Cool Roger !  It's been a long time since I was in the Akron area and I'm having trouble placing this shot.  Am I assuming correctly that was the ex-Erie ROW on the right ?  Imagine all the great meets that were made here over the years !

Rod, this was taken from the Perkins St bridge. JO would have been just ahead of the train. Yes, that's the old EL right of way off to the right. Notice the spot where the new trail ends now- couldn't have picked a worse part of town. This area is full of homeless camps and they constantly bother anyone around. Cars have been broken into at the trail parking area about 1/2 a mile east of this location as well. Sad.

Snow and green leaves - great shot.
This area looks just "slightly" different than it did 40 years ago.

Excellent shot. And a worthy IOTD! We woke up to a freak snow covering of 2-4 inches here in NE Kansas, as well. But it was mostly all melted off by mid-afternoon. For a few hours there, I thought I was back in Montana... ;^)
