Eastern Railroad Discussion > Ending Summer with a Blast - Cincinnati Railway Fireworks TrainDate: 09/06/21 19:36 Ending Summer with a Blast - Cincinnati Railway Fireworks Train Author: K8CNW The unofficial end of summer was a blast as two Cincinnati Railway Company trains brought more than 400 riders down to the Cincinnati riverfront on Sunday evening (Sept 5). CRC 902, ex-NKP GP30 #902 powered the Cincinnati Dinner Train with CRC 5704 (ex C&O GP7) and IORY 2103 (ex-CNW GP38-2) powering the coach train. This was the scene just east of Cincinnati with CRC 902 on the (railroad) west end of the Cincinnati Dinner Train sporting Great Miami Railway colors.
