CP has a run though deal from the west coast ports to Jeffersonville, OH.  Loaded soybeans for export to Asia.   I had high hopes for this traffic but it is sporadic at best.

The ocean carriers want all their loaded eastbound import boxes expedited empty westbound ASAP right now during the current supply chain meltdown. It's been limiting these ag export backhaul moves.

While true currently, the traffic was sporadic before empty cans back to Asia became an issue. This deal has been in place for about 4 years give or take. Most containers I’ve seen any one time was about a dozen.

If they come double stacked the I&O has to do a special run around move in Springfield, OH due to a low bridge.
