IC SD70 Then and Now
Author: MaryMcPherson

Same unit, nearly a quarter-century apart.

In August, 1998, I boogied down to Makanda, Illinois, to catch a southbound Illinois Central freight headed up by SD70 #1009.  This morning, the same locomotive was sporting Canadian National colors as it led southbound A408 into Centralia, Illinois.

Nice shots and contrast, always liked those standard cab versions...

What'd you say?
Can't hear you over this loud @$$ engine, cause the RR didn't buy the quiet version.

Then and now photos are always appreciated by this TO member. Like the appearance of the SD70s in either scheme.
