Posted from iPhone Date: 12/03/22 12:08 Re: snafu on reading line Author: pdt Most often in my limited experience...the air dumps cause sensors think ther was a sudden drop in pressure. and u come to a stop and walk the train and find nothing and then pump up the air and all is well...
And sometimes..spcly with intermodal cars.. a hose gets snagged Date: 12/03/22 13:07 Re: snafu on reading line Author: OHRY It wasn't the air they lost. It was the oil. Good news, all the doors and windows are well lubricates.

Nothing could move. THey had the ethanol train tie down its train on a siding and used the power to pull the 19G up the mountain. When the 19G arrived in Bethlehem it had a UP unit leading long-hood out.. The engine that blew was coverd in oil.

The engine that > blew was coverd in oil. Yeah heard him coming through Landsdown NJ around 7:30 didn't sound right by the time I got track side he was stopped. I couldn't investigate had too much to do. But on my way back home around 10:45 I saw 29G in the siding in Flemington and 19G hadn't moved. Was going to ask on here what happened, so thank you for answering inadvertently. |
