Very Old Fort Bragg memories

Anyone out there that can remember Fort Bragg, N.C. in the early 50"s??
There was an heavyweight passenger car stored there which I believe had a rear end platform.
I think the army was using it for record storage. As kids we used to go inside of it and play "train".
Any recollections??
