Penn Central 4731 S-2 Electric?
Author: Lackawanna484

I was going through some old slides and noticed several of Penn Central 4731, which I believe is an S-2 New York Central electric motor. It was switching cars at Croton Harmon shop in 1979, I believe.

Did this unit survive, or did any of the series survive? I think these units were bumped from Grand Central Terminal when the Niagara Electric steeple cabs arrived
