Guilford is apparently affiliated with Pan Am, and I guess it's some kind of thing to attract attention to the RR. I think Highball makes decals for them. It's nice to see something other then mineral brown though.

Does Guilford own the airline too, or is this just a marketing partnership?

At the moment, Pan Am is in transition in terms of flights (727s) and destinations. It looks like they will have flights scheduled for Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays. GRS other ariline, Boston-Maine Airways, has a newly announced route Bedford, MA (just west of Boston at Hanscom Field) to Trenton, NJ. Plus Pan Am services is a fixed base operator at Pease Int'l airport, near Portsmouth NH.

This made Trains magazine and they noted that Guilford has refused to comment why they did it. Maybe using the logo will keep it under copywrite laws, like UP is doing with the Cotton Belt logo?

The logo is also on the ST100 and ST101 business cars.

Nah it just trips and falls regularly, then gets back up and tries again, though weaker each time.

Pan Am freight trains go by my house in E. Kingston NH multiple times, day and night, as does the NHR rock train and Amtrak.
A great place to live if you like trains!
