Model Railroading > Intermountain annouces HO and N CSX F-units!!!Date: 03/10/09 15:37 Intermountain annouces HO and N CSX F-units!!! Author: SSW_BlueStreak FINALLY!!!
I have been waiting for this one for a LONG time. Intermountain has annouced FP7 CSX #118 and F7B CSX #119 in the older blue/gray scheme in both HO and N scale. It have been just WAITING for somebody to finally do a good model of these, especially in the older blue/gray livery. Thank you very much Intermountain!!! Already ordered my HO A-B set from DCCTrain here in Cincinnati... Dave Date: 03/10/09 18:45 Re: Intermountain annouces HO and N CSX F-units!!! an upcoming release. It'd be nice to get a complete ABBA set, since they also do F7A/B's (although 116 was actually an upgraded F3A) Date: 03/11/09 06:39 Re: Intermountain annouces HO and N CSX F-units!!! Author: CSXT4447 csxt4617 Wrote:

When I was a kid I saw them on the short-lived CSX Roadrailer and that was the scheme they were in. I only saw them in the YN2 scheme in pictures. But having seen them in the blue/gray in person hooked me on them in that scheme. I still remember the day that I went with my dad and grandpa to visit a lady that went to our church who happened to live by the CSX tracks. As we pulled into the town square in Glendale, Ohio (a Cincinnati suburb on the former B&O Cincinnati-Toledo route) there sat an A-B set of the CSX F's on the Roadrailer waiting for a clear signal by the depot. That day is still burned into my brain...
