Model Railroading > CB&Q SW1000'sDate: 05/09/09 05:39 CB&Q SW1000's Author: NYSWSD70M I see that Athearn paints the CB&Q SW1000's in two different paint schemes. Can anyone tell the story as to why?

I believe this was the only SW1000 repainted. I'm not sure if any older switchers were repainted this way.

I always liked the looks of these engines in the original scheme.
