I was lucky to catch this three-train trick today at 11th Avenue, just after a packed lunch of two bagels (smoked ham with grated strong cheddar) and a cold, cold coke. My brother-in-law's the Fire Chief, and he let me shoot this film from the big La France ladder.

An Eastbound local was sitting in the hole, awaiting the passage of a first-class hot-shot freight. I was too, when a westbound train thundered past in the opposite direction.

A lucky catch, indeed.
