Model Railroading > Cal. Southern Fall Open House This Weekend

Folks, the California Southern Model Railroad Club will be holding it's bi-annual Open House this coming weekend, welcoming anyone in Southern California willing and free to head over to Norwalk. Spend part of your Veterans Day weekend enjoying a little model railroad action. Admission is free as always, plus there will be raffle prizes donated by numerous model manufacturers and local So Cal hobby shops. Tasty baked goods, Model RR stuff for sale, and a wide variety of HO scale model trains will be set up and running all day Saturday, Sunday, and the following Tuesday evening. Raffle prizes will be drawn immediately after the Tuesday night session. Hours and directions are below. If you're not busy, please come on over and attend! Bring the kids, it should be nice fall like weekend (after a little departing weather Sat. morning) with mostly sunny skies and high temps in the upper 60s.

Saturday, November 10 - 10AM to 8PM
Sunday, November 11 - Noon to 6PM
Tuesday, November 13 - 7PM to 9PM

How do we get there?
From Orange County:
Take Interstate 5 north and exit at Firestone Blvd [exit 120] (exit is on the left, aka fast lane). Proceed about 1/4 mile west on Firestone. The club is on the left in the mall just before the first stoplight.

From Los Angeles:
Take Interstate 5 south and exit at Norwalk Blvd / San Antonio Ave [exit 121]. Turn left after exiting the freeway. Proceed to the stoplight and make a right. At the next stoplight (Firestone Blvd) turn left and the club is on the right in the mall in the first block.
