Model Railroading > "Upside Down" Smoke UnitDate: 10/19/13 17:30 "Upside Down" Smoke Unit Author: Tominde I recently did some work on my G Gauge Aristocraft Pacific. I replaced the smoke unit but something did get installed quite right. Really can't install it upside down, hey it does hold smoke fluid. But I'm thinking a put the plug on the fan backwards and it is blowing the smoke down. Anyway it appears to come out around the cylinder chest much like an open cylinder cock. I almost like the effect.
Open House in Newark DE next Saturday and several more in the area. http://www.modelrailroadopenhouse.com/ Date: 10/20/13 08:57 Re: "Upside Down" Smoke Unit Author: warrenpweiss Nice pictures! Perhaps the polarity fan motor leads are reversed.
