Berkeley Ace Hardware Hobby swap meet Sat. April 19th.

2145 University Ave. Berkeley, CA.

I just found out the swap meet is two weeks from today. It's usually pretty good, and they offer 25% off all non-sale items that day. 9AM - 4 PM, best to get there early if you want a table. I was told by Trace, the main "hobby guy", that this may be the last one, as they are expecting to move to their new location soon. It doesn't have a parking lot where they can set up a swap meet.

I'll definitely be there.

Usually lots of good stuff at good prices. Some old some new and sometimes brass.Can't believe that they will be closing and moving to another location. Last Berkeley Ace Hardware swap meet sad to see it go!

Yeah, I was told the Hobby Dept. will be in a separate storefront a couple doors away from the hardware store. The relocation is supposed to be temporary, about two years, while the current building is gutted and several floors added. They will be about a mile west of the current location.
