Date: 09/28/14 11:34 Re: HO Scale tie size Author: fbe According to my calipers 3/32" converts to 8" HO scale. That is a bit light for today's standards. Through the 1970s and well into the 2000s ties were 10x8 and 10x10 so you might want to go with 7/64 or 1/8.
Have you measured any commercial loose ties or plastic ties on flex track? The Central Valley switch kit or flex track kit ties were probably thoroughly researched.
