Nice Davis station model! I remember Davis station very well having worked there some years. The station sign however should be mounted to the left over the baggage room. There has always been some controversy over the sign. The sign shown was added after the station was "restored" in the late 1980s or 1990s. However, although the original blueprints show the sign, to the best of my knowledge no
contemporary photo or postcard shows the sign in use. Therefore it's believed by some that the station sign was never actually erected. Anyone know different?
