Livin' Large in Kansas City
Author: WrongWayMurphy

A really great guy from Mizzou invited a bunch of us Texans to his place this weekend :

A big Frisco mikado passes me as I wait on the siding.

An even bigger Nickle Plate steamer forces me in the hole.

This time I defer to a Wabash ten-wheeler

I just spotted graffiti vandalism on a hopper car. Is somebody giving out spray-paints to the squirrels?

I have heard of beer can tank cars, but it looks like a beer keg tank car in several of the pictures.

Argyle, ... er, excuse me ... Wrong, why did you choose to dieselize? Cost? Regulatory affairs? PIA factor? Insurance? Portability? Modernizing? Prototype preferences? Peer (also spelled s-p-o-u-s-a-l) pressure? Or.... ?

He's having some "steaming" problems right now (we're working on that) and couldn't stand not going to a meet. So-----he got a backup machine.

But, we are also concerned about the "munkie".
