Model Railroading > Finished UpDate: 07/05/16 07:14 Finished Up Author: RGDave I made a little time on the long weekend to finish up weathering on the 6437 as well as CR 2816, one of Conrail's original B23-7's. Both units received a clear dull coat, then minor fading with the airbrush. Windows and lights were masked ahead of time. Grime was added with the airbrush to the frames, and then each unit was finished with acrylics and pastel chalk powders.
Both will be pulling trains ahead of the next operating session. The roster is filling out! 1. CR 2816 and CR 6437 side-by-side at Onondaga Yard. Thanks for looking! ~RGDave Modeling Conrail in Central New York in 1994 http://onondagacutoff.blogspot.com/ Date: 07/05/16 07:43 Re: Finished Up Author: Lakota-rail Well done, particularly like the weathering on the trucks.
