HB&T MP15DC
Author: runningextra

Hey everyone, been awhile since I have had anything to post....No completed pics but I do have some in progress pictures of an Atlas MP15DC I am working on that will represent the Houston Belt & Terminal as they were in the mid 1980's

Radiator Fan Modification
Picture #1 - I used a piece of .010 styrene to cover the molded on shutters
Picture #2 - Drilled out the center and used a Plano 48" fan and .005 styrene for the center disk
Picture #3 - I used strip styrene for the new shutters and then placed the screen back on the front

Thanks for looking,
Scott

Thanks everyone!

Dilworth - You will laugh but I use Rust-Oleum High Performance Enamel #7515 Aluminum out of a rattle can as a primer before I air brush it with Tru-Color TCP-096 VIA Yellow which is a very good match for the HB&T yellow.

What decals are you going to use? I'm trying to get them made for the black scheme as shown in this diagram I got thru the NMRA.

My bad; you're doing an MP15; they were delivered in the solid yellow.

If there are any others interested in the older HB&T Alco, SW1200 or SW1500, please let Hubert Mask know at http://maskislanddecals.com/home.html know.

Brian - Yes, the solid yellow but I would be interested in doing one of the HB&T switchers in that scheme, if you get those decals done I would for sure get a set.
(I also sent an email to Hubert)

Jeff - Thank you, very much appreciated!
