Lethbridge AB club open house Mar 18-19

The Southern Alberta Model Railway Club will be having our semi annual open house next weekend, March 18 and 19 2017. Trains will be running from 10:00 to 16:00 each day Saturday and Sunday.

We are located in Gyro Park on the south side of Lethbridge, at the corner of 15 St S and 10A Ave S. Come on by and say hi, I'll be running a freight behind my Mikado Saturday.

Shouldn't the crane boom be facing the rear of the train?

Ideally, yes...timetable special instructions usually specify two speeds for cranes depending on boom direction. Boom forward is much more restrictive (by 10 to 15 mph) than to the rear. Lower speed means more time to enjoy the run over the layout anyway!
